I have been breeding for approximately 24 years and enjoy many aspects of it.   My favorite part is nurturing these puppies/kittens so that they are ready to go home.  I feel that it is very important to socialize them from Day #1 so that they are comfortable with people (especially children) and other pets.  I achieve this by giving each animal individual attention away from their littermates to help build self-confidence and individual identity.  I breed no more than two litters at a time to ensure that I have sufficient time to spend with each puppy/kitten.

I am always very honest about the quality of the animals I place explaining both the good points and any points I think the new owners should know about.   I never encourage a prospective owner to purchase an animal that they aren't ready for or is not suited for their environment.  This is not just a business to me; it is very important that my animals go to a safe, happy, well-adjusted home and that each personality is paired with that of its new parents.

I research the health and temperament of any new dog/cat I bring into my home to use for breeding.  I will not breed overly timid or aggressive animals.
